Fashion early adopters

19 de June de 2024

Who are fashion early adopters? Some people think that they are the people who want to wear trends, or that they are the first people to wear the trends, or that they are the ones who want to know what the trends are first. What are the things that everyone will be wearing? What's next season's hit? But isn't that just being a consumerist? The fashion early adopter isn't quite like that, they're not that trendy, consumerist person. They're actually interested in innovation.

There are very unusual ways of putting something on the body. It's not something that's going to become a trend next month. Sometimes it's that piece that the micro-designer has made that the fashion early adopters will use, wear, try on, and in three or four years' time, it will become a trend.

But in this novelty, it's something different, not just in terms of ergonomics, wearability, style and look, but also in terms of mentality, materials and technologies. Early adopters are looking for this combination of things, the sum of design, technology, materials and, above all, industrial processes, because this also has to do with the positive socio-environmental impact of these garments on the world. After all, these people want to dress in a way that recognizes the impact of their consumption.

We owe a lot to them, because it is thanks to these groups of people, in different scenarios, in different conditions and environments, that make the development of innovation possible. It is the return, it is the impression of these people that make designers be innovative. Their return makes all the people who work with technology and innovation in materials, adjust their innovations to large scale, so that it becomes usable by different people, in different environments, and that it really brings a positive balance at the end, not only for people and for the history of fashion, but also for the planet, for the impact on the environment. We can not continue to look at the Earth as an inexhaustible source of resources, in fact we must return to it the resources because it also needs this to survive, we can not stay taking everything away, we have to keepla, do the maximum to try to return it the minimum possible balance, because unfortunately we already unbalanced everything, and fashion has a very big role in this imbalance.

So, let us have more and more communities of these people who have this spirit to experience innovation, because innovation does not depend only on who develops it. Innovation depends a lot on who uses it, who experiences it, who will say if they liked it, did not like it, and why? Because, usually, it is so. The early fashion adopter, he says, he knows why he liked it or didn’t like it. And it contributes too much to the development of innovation and in our case, innovation in the textile industry. So, dear fashion early adopters we want you to try our innovation and we really want to know your opinion, which is very important for us.
